Adire Eleko is a style of Nigerian indigo textiles crafted with complex designs of symbolic patterns. It is made with resistance-dye techniques using hand-painted cotton cloth then dipped in natural indigo dyes. The detail in the designs and the richness of the indigo in older textiles is rarely found in modern designs. Highlighted by an iconic signature of the artisan.
