The essence of the bowl lies in its tactile surface which reflect the handwork of the artisan as he molds the final shape. Our objects are hand-cast by Nigerian bronze masters who have extensive experience in employing the lost wax technique. The ancient lost wax technique dates back centuries in the Benin Kingdom and was once reserved exclusively for royal households.
